It's good to keep in mind that in particularly competitive real estate markets, sellers will be able to sell anytime of the year, determined buyers don't stop looking just because the seasons change.

Households with families who have school-aged children often want to make a move when their kids are out of school for summer vacation. In areas where there are concentrated number of schools, spring and summer are great seasons for selling.
