The 2012 Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is BACK!!!

The 2012 Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is this weekend!!!  The Shootout is a fabulous charity event that benefits local organizations.  You won't want to miss it.  

The event is the largest unsanctioned boat race in the United States with official speeds that hit 208 mph in the past two years.  Last year there were more than 100,000 people who came out for the various events including the Treasure Hunt, Golf Tournament, Concerts, Shootout on the Strip Street Party, PWC Dam Run, Auction, Make-a-Wish Boat Rides, the Mini-Shootout, remote controlled boat race, poker run, Fireworks Display and Boating Racing.  

 This year, the committee has added even more fun events that are designed to bring in additional funds to benefit local charities.  A total of $70,570.00 was given to eight different Fire Departments and other charitable organizations last year with hopes of surpassing that number in 2012.

 This event is a huge contribution to the Lake Community and The Team at Fran Campbell encourages you to head out with your friends and family for this spectacular event!! You'll have a great time while helping local organizations and building the Lake Ozark community.

Thursday, August 23 
  • 8am-4pm Vendor Booth and Racer Village set up at Buccaneer Bay
  • 4pm-6pm Racers pick up registration packets
  • 4pm-9pm Poly Lift Poker Run Registration
  • 4pm-11pm Meet and Greet with Racers
  • 6pm-8pm Shootout benefit Auction at Captain Ron's
Saturday, August 25
  • 8am-4pm Registration, Safety Inspections & Class Identification
  • 8:30am Drivers meeting on Cannon Ball Beach
  • 8:30am Opening Ceremony/National Anthem
  • 8:30am PWC Classes Run
  • 9am-5pm Racer Villiage and Vendor Booths open to public
  • 10am-5pm Shootout Racing 
Sunday, August 26
  • 8am-3pm Registration, Safety Inspections & Class Identification
  • 9am-5pm Racer Village and Vendor Booths open to public
  • 10am National Anthem
