The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is Back!!

Summer is still in full swing here at Lake of the Ozarks and one of the biggest weekends at the lake is finally here! The 33rd Annual Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is the largest unsanctioned boat race in the United States, and named as a “must see” boating event. Top powerboat racers from across the country are here and ready to kick off the weekend. There are so many fun things to do at Lake of the Ozarks, and the Fran Campbell team is grateful to be members of such a wonderful community. Today, your favorite real estate agents at Lake of the Ozarks are here to shared everything you need to know about the 33rd Annual Lake of the Ozarks Shootout happening this weekend!

The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is the Lake's largest boating event of the year where you have the opportunity to see speedboats reach speeds over 200 mph along with over 100,000 spectators! The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout will take place on Saturday, August 28th and Sunday, August 29th at Captain Ron's or at the 34.5 MM on water. Spectators are encouraged to watch on land and by water.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 28, 2021

  • 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Captain Ron’s breakfast
  • 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Racer Registration on Cannonball Beach
  • 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Safety Inspections & Class Identification
  • 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Vendor Village and Racer Village open to the public at Buccaneer Bay and Captain Ron’s
  • 9:45 a.m. Opening Ceremony – National Anthem

Classes have priority runs:

  • 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Non-Professional
  • 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Manufacturer
  • 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Professional
  • 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Non-Professional
  • 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Open Class Runs
  • 6:30 p.m. – Super Cat Fest 4 Kids Live Auction and Dinner
  • 7:00 p.m. –1:00 a.m. Entertainment at Captain Ron’s

SUNDAY, AUGUST 29, 2021

  • 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Captain Ron’s open for breakfast
  • 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Racer Registration on Cannonball Beach
  • 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Safety Inspections & Class Identification
