Christmas is almost here! For those of you looking for some fun things to do with your family while they're in town for the holiday, Fran Campbell Team is here to help by dedicating our blog this week to a quick summary of two Christmas events that are still going on around the Lake of the Ozarks. No matter how you choose to celebrate the holiday, we hope you have an amazing time with your family and friends!

Drive-Through Holiday Light Parks

There's something truly irresistible about Christmas lights, no matter what age you are. The Lake of the Ozarks is home to four drive-through holiday light parks where you and your family can enjoy beautiful holiday light displays from the comfort and warmth of your vehicle. Whether you choose to visit one or all four of them, we're sure your whole family will love these beautiful displays.

 Donations are greatly appreciated at most of these locations, but admission is free to each of these four parks.

Deck The Docks Holiday Light Cruises

A longstanding tradition at the Lake, Deck the Docks Holiday Light Cruises are a great way to celebrate Christmas while supporting a wonderful cause at the same time. During this 2.5 hour event, attendees will get to view waterfront homes that have been beautifully decorated for the holiday season from aboard the Celebration Cruise boat. The cruise will travel between the 11 and 21 mile markers. Live entertainment and appetizers will be provided.

 The cruises have been available all throughout December, but there are still a few cruise dates left. The ship will depart at 5:30 PM on each of the following days:
  • Wednesday, December 23rd
  • Saturday, December 26th
  • Wednesday, December 30th

Reservations are $25 per person and must be made in advance. Seating is available in tables of 8. Proceeds from this event will benefit Dogwood Animal Shelter. Visit the Deck the Docks Facebook page for more information: www.facebook.com/DecktheDocks

The award honors successful agents who have earned at least $250,000 in commissions in the past year. In 2008, only 4% of the RE/MAX network achieved this prestigious award.
