St Patrick's Day Events at the Lake

We're coming up on another holiday weekend here at the Lake of the Ozarks. St. Patrick's Day is on Tuesday of next week, so everyone is making plans to celebrate a little early! If you're looking for fun things to do at the Lake of the Ozarks this weekend, here's a quick snapshot of some of this year's St. Patrick's Day events.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

St. Patrick's Day parades have become a huge tradition all over the U.S., and the Lake of the Ozarks is no exception. The 31st Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade at the Lake is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 14th on the Bagnell Dam Strip. This is always a wonderful event with fantastic floats, marching bands, candy, and plenty of goodies for everyone.

Local restaurants along the Strip will be offering great specials and serving Irish favorites like corned beef and cabbage. It should be a great afternoon at the Lake of the Ozarks!

St. Patrick's Parade on the Water

It's no secret that boating at the Lake of the Ozarks is a huge attraction, so it only makes sense that there would be a St. Patrick's Day event especially for boating enthusiasts! The St. Patrick's Parade on the Water offers a chance to celebrate Irish traditions with a great Mid-Missouri twist.

This year, the water parade is scheduled to begin at Captain Ron's at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 14th and follow a path to Bear Bottom Resort, then Bulldog's Beach House, and finally Larry's on the Lake. Sounds like fun to us!
