Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals at Lake of the Ozarks this Weekend!

For 23 years, Lake of the Ozarks has been the home of the Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals and they will celebrate the 24th year this weekend, May 4th-6th.  This annual event drew over 1000 vehicles last year and they anticipate breaking that record in 2012.   Folks from all over the United States will travel to the Historic Bagnell Dam Strip to show off  their treasured toys and enjoy the weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks.

The Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals is so popular that in the past, traffic has been closed on the strip during show hours, creating a great opportunity to visit the Historic Bagnell Dam Strip to see all the unique makes, models and years of some of the finest cars, trucks and motorcycles on display.  You can stroll down the historic strip and visit the shops, restaurants, arcades and amusements with your family and friends.  This has truly become a favorite family-friendly event for the locals as well as visitors to the area.



There are a few minor changes to the event this year worth noting.   First, the strip will only be closed off to traffic on Saturday.  Second, the show hours have been extended (visit www.magicdragoncarshow.com for times and dates).  Third, the show will introduce the "Choice Awards".  Local businesses will be given the opportunity to sponsor the award, choose the winner and present the award during the Awards ceremony.
