Packing and unpacking is a lot of work...and stressful, especially when you can't find what you need when you move into your new home. It doesn't have to be this way when you are organized! Consider these useful packing tips. 

Label  EVERYTHING! 

This might feel like a hassle when you are doing it but trust us when everything is labeled your life will be so much easier when its time to unpack. Go out and buy a pack of colored markers and label everything by room. If there are items you know you will want immediately, make an additional mark so you know which box to open. 

Pack Smart

When it comes to breakables, kill two birds with one stone and use towels and blankets to wrap all breakable items. This will save you money on packing materials and those items will need to be packed away anyway. 

Your Home is SOLD

  • Turn on your utilities- water, gas, electric etc.

  • Transfer school records - if necessary 
  • Forward your mail 
  • Update billing address- banks, credit cards, all bills, etc.
