QuarterMania Auction 2016!

There is always a lot going on at the Lake, and residents are always looking for ways to help out those in need. Fran Campbell Team is proud to be part of such a generous community, and we encourage our team members to give back to the community in any way they can. Tammy Rosenthal, one of our outstanding Lake of the Ozarks real estate agents, is a member of Professional Business Women - Heart of the Ozarks. This weekend, they're hosting their annual fundraiser: QuarterMania. If you are looking for a fun way to give back, you'll have to check out this great event!

Date: Sunday, April 3rd, 2016
Time: Doors open at 1:00 PM, Auction starts at 2:00 PM
Location: Inn at Grand Glaize
Ticket Price: $15 in advance, $20 at the door

This "auction" fundraiser redefines everything you thought you knew about auctions. Participants drop quarters into a passing buckets for a chance to win each item as it is brought up to the auction block, and then numbers are randomly drawn to determine the official winner. The number of quarters needed to bid on an item depends on the item's worth. If you'd rather avoid having to use quarters for each item as it comes up, you can purchase a RedRockstar paddle for $50 that will allow you to bid on every item.

We expect to have over 100 different items available for auction, ranging from gift baskets to golf packages to gift certificates for local businesses. All the items have been donated, and all proceeds benefit Professional Business Women - Heart of the Ozarks. They will use the money to fund scholarships for non-traditional female students and for local communities.

Though it's hosted by Professional Business Women - Heart of the Ozarks, this event is open to both men and women and is always a great time for everyone who attends. Tickets are limited, so reserve your seat today by emailing Amanda Fagan at teamPBW@gmail.com. A cash bar will be available!

About the Lake of the Ozarks Professional & Business Women's Association

Professional & Business Women (PBW) is a statewide organization with multiple chapters in different locations. With over forty active members, the Lake of the Ozarks chapter is one of the largest in the state. PBW's mission statement is to "enhance women's lives professionally, politically, and personally."

QuarterMania is the group's only fundraiser of the year. The money raised at the auction fund scholarships for working women who wish to further their education. PBW also donates some of the proceeds to several local charities. In 2016, the charities chosen to benefit from the auction are Citizens Against Domestic Violence, Kids' Harbor, the Hope House, The Community Foundation of the Lake, Share the Harvest, and Lamb House.
