Memorial Day Weekend 2014 is almost here!! Fran Campbell Team at the Lake of the Ozarks is wishing you a fantastic holiday weekend. Whether you're a vacationer or a local, now is the perfect time to break out the jet skis and the boats and get out on the water!

 Memorial Day is about celebrating the sacrifices made by all the United States Military men and women who gave their lives in order to serve their country. We believe it is incredibly important to start instilling this appreciation in children at a young age, so we wanted to highlight a few family-friendly events taking place at the Lake this weekend. 

Fireworks Displays!


 Fireworks are always a favorite Lake of the Ozarks activity on big holiday weekends, and this one will be no exception! There are three big displays scheduled for this weekend. Bear Bottom Resort will be hosting their weekly firework display on Saturday, May 24th. Tan-Tar-A Resort and The Lodge of the Four Seasons will both be putting on their breathtaking displays on Sunday, May 25th. 


Lights, Lights, and More Lights!

The Ozark Yacht Club is hosting their annual Parade Of Lights on Saturday, May 24th at 8:30pm. This beautiful display is held to commemorate the brave men and women who gave their lives in order to protect this wonderful country we call home. Owners of powerboats and sailboats alike are invited to participate in this great cause by decorating their boats and parading a couple of miles along the Lake of the Ozarks. Prizes will be given for the best decorated boat and the first runner up. If you would like to register your boat for the parade, call Sara at 573-552-8401. Hurry - registration ends tomorrow (Thursday, May 22)!

While Memorial Day may be a favorite, every weekend is a great weekend at the Lake!
