Rum Cake for the Holidays!
Happy Thanksgiving from the Fran Campbell Team!
We thought we'd share another one of our favorite recipes for the holiday!
1 package yellow cake mix
2 small packages of vanilla instant pudding
½ cup rum (light)
½ cup Crisco
½ cup water
Beat 3 minutes, high speed, Grease and flour Bundt pan, sprinkle ¾ cup pecans (chopped) in bottom of pan. Bake 325 degrees for one hour or until done.
1 stick oleo
1 cup sugar
¼ cup rum
¼ cup water
Boil 5 minutes. Let cake stand for 5 minutes after removing from oven. Pour glaze over cake slowly while hot. Let Stand 20 minutes and then turn out of pan.
